700 miles

Traveling on the bus today.  Correction, we traveled on the bus all night.   We were conveniently booked to play South Dakota, then Kansas, then back to South Dakota, and then again back to Kansas.   In the end it will equal about an extra 1400 miles that could've been avoided.  Oh well.  So we are about to finish our first "overnighter" on the bus as we left Topeka, KS at 1:00 am CDT.  About to arrive soon in Rapid City around 12:30 MST.  Comes out to just under twelve hours of travel for the day.

Now the only difference about these over nighters, compared to Scooby, was the type of bus we travelled with.   This tour is just a coach charter bus where Scooby had a sleeper bus with a bunk that was just my size.   If you can figure out how to put a 6'2" guy in a double chair on a coach bus comfortably, give me a call.  It's not an easy fit.

If you need me, I will be at the chiropractor, massage therapist, and hot tub located by the hotel poolside.
